Sorry not enough information.

Is the "stomach ache" there all the time, or does it come and go?
Does anything make it better or worse e.g eating.?
You are a bit vague as to it's location...is it above or below the "belly button?" to the left or to the right.?

Any nausea? Are your bowels fine?
How old are you?

its between my belly button and abdomen it does come and go ,some slight nausea but not often bowels seem ok I am 68, bread and pastry products seem to make it worse and it feels like i'm hungry or have indigestion and it is a low ache/pain
Sorry to be pedantic, but not sure what you mean...above OR below your belly button?

sorry above my belly button
OK...the bottom line here is that you need to see your GP, but no panic.
Two things come to mind, firstly a)gastritis b) peptic ulcer.

Gall bladder problem is a rank outsider.

See your GP who will certainly arrange upper gasto-intestinal investigations.

Keep us informed.

carlon....thanks for the update.....so the pain is around the belly button and below it....so to the right below the belly button or left below the belly button?

Has it improved today?

Hi Sqad sorry not to get back to you right away, I did go to my GP and although my stomach ache has gone now at the time the Doctor thought it could be Diverticulitis and I should go back for further tests after a couple of weeks if things had not improved thankfully it has so thanks
