Unfortunately after an op
Then a post op bleed... on day 8

I now have a viral infection.

Could i have done anything to avoid this? Im feeling lousy but im worried about being off sick due to the time of year...

Im really anxious about it x

I doubt you could have done anything differently Tinks and no good will come of you beating yourself up about it - try to get over it the best you can following advice you'll have been given no doubt.

It happens....thought to be due to secondary infection, but this has recently been disputed.

Do you mean the post op bleed or the alleged viral infection?

The answer to the bleed is probably No and the answer to your viral problem is YES, if you had remained in a sterile tent for 2 weeks....not very practical though ;-)

My GP diagnosed a viral infection....

I just wondered if i could have avoided the viral infection... i stayed in mostly for the first two weeks but was out now & again thereafter.... worried about being off sick thats all.
