Sometimes photos are not clear on dating apps

Perhaps you should put dating on hold and concentrate on your new job.

Because don't forget whilst you are a probationer they can get rid of you for very little reason in the first 6 months.

I agree with Red. You should (at least for a while) put your work well ahead of your social life and get really settled in.

Well I might be going out on Friday with the girls

Abbey, I think you haven't been keen on meeting BG (bearded guy) again  from the minute it was suggested. Couldn't you just have said to him, 'That would have been good, but I'm working the next day' - though it would maybe come across as bizarre that you don't go out on weekdays?! Many people do, they usually just make sure it's not a late night. You've brought up other things - the stain on his trousers, the remark about tv programmes- that don't seem at all relevant.

Can some not see this is a yeah but, no but conversation that has zero point whatsoever. abbey I don't think you care what people are saying to you, you just want to get the post count up and boy it works, even I can't resist it at times.

Abbey I am so confused

I thought you were asking about the guy? Where do the 'girls' come into it?

I would have seen the guy that changed his mind again but move on to someone more suited

Prudie - this is the way Ab Editor and spare ed want it - they want footfall so we join in or watch the site die!

See I met someone out

Which guy was more suited? The guy with the really really rare illness who was going travelling?

Yeah think that ship has sailed love!

@1257 - ?

Prudie //even I can't resist it at times.//

Remember that song Lady Willpower? 😄

Helen soothes the lumps on her head after keep banging it on the wall.

Abbey, I've just looked in - are you working today?

Lol Barsel - we have been told numerous times that we should help even though we never seem to get anywhere except bruised foreheads!

1) "I would have seen the guy that changed his mind again but move on to someone more suited"

2)" See I met someone out "

Abbey, do those statements make sense to you because they just seem meaningless to me?

Be honest with us Abbey- why do you ask for our thoughts when you ignore our advice almost everytime.

I agree with Prudie.

Superficial can make a difference; especially if it is the difference between being a good friend or something more.

Do whatever you feel you really want. As long as it's legal & moral.

//Can some not see this is a yeah but, no but conversation //

All abbey's posts are like this. I once read up about transactional analysis (Berne) & this is a typical "Yes, but" script. The subject will always find a way of not effectively addressing their perceived problem.

So did you meet another guy when you went out on the selco works do?
