Hot - Bacon and sausage with grilled tomato
Cold - Roast Beef and horseradish....the again it could be honey roast ham and tomato....or mature cheddar with caramelised red onion chutney...
Anyway, what's your favourite?

....I forgot hot roast pork with stuffing, crackling and apple sauce for hot too....
One of my favourites is the hot pork loin baguettes you get in Spain (and probably elsewhere too).
cold - chicken (off the leg), thin tomato, a little mayo, rapsberry chipotle. (and poss thin slices of cucumber)

hot - can't beat an old fashioned croque monsieur (ou madame).
Hot...pork with stuffing

Cold - RB and HR with tomato.
Hot = omelette and ketchup or fried egg and bacon.
Cold = egg mayo and bacon or plain cheese and tomato bagette.

Hot: Tomato and cheese
Cold: Cajun chicken, red cheddar and tomato
mmmmm sarnies
Hot..... a beautiful ham out of the oven, boiled, fat and skin removed, then smothered in tangy orange marmalade and roasted. What better with a nice ripe straight from the vine tomato on some fresh out of the oven bread? - Or with a dab of english mustard? Or a mature cheddar with red onion chutney.

cold er ,... a jam sarnie i think
like my maters then - though hers havent been properly pruned in years.

they are nice to have - and the pig - home reared - usually much more flavoursome if so......
the only hot one i like is bacon on toasted bread with loads of tomato sauce, i find bread disinegrates with a hot filling and goes slimey, which i don't like. or if it was a toasted sandwich done in a machine, it would be cheese and onion.
cold fillings? i do like prawns in seafood sauce with rocket, closely followed by chicken salad with lots of mayo or bacon, brie and cranberry sauce.
im having a Steak and Ale pie, with chunks of pure aberdeen angus steak, onions and musrooms in a real ale gravy, crisp golden flaky pastry with seasonal vegetables later on so I dont want to fill up
