Ham & mustard sandwiches, Kate? Is this 'banquet' just a cold buffet then? If so, I'll bring Stilton & Mango Chutney sandwiches (on a decent rye bread).

Otherwise, if we're going to have a proper banquet, I'll cook and bring the venison in port wine sauce, served with Lyonnaise potatoes and seasonal veg.
