the day of chores, clean tables, bedroom done, now for the washing, sadly that's turned into a fiasco, i put one of the bath mats in with the ordinary wash and its all flaked off the back of the mat, subsequently all the clothes look like a spotted dog, so back in the wash for a rinse, boo sucks..

Think yourself lucky not to have attempted to wash a feather pillow. I once checked the Net and learnt one can put them in the washing machine. Lying Bs >:-(

It's a great word Emmie xx
After we'd scattered my brothers ashes, there were(was) about 14 of us round the table in pub, and we were in gales of laughter. (Absolutely horrified the newly adopted Mr Alba) Waitress asked what we were celebrating, we just told her 'a life that has gone to different pastures'

When my Aunt died the Vicar called round about the arrangements to find us all with tears streaming. but it was laughter, my mother talking when they were young girls. Some years later, in her final illness my mother had lost an enormous amount of weight, when she died we were sorting out clothes to take to the undertakers for the funeral and I held up a suit and said She liked this, to which my brother replied It's massive, it'll bury her. So I said Well, that'll do then! I'm sure I could hear her chuckle at that. It's often the laughter in the immediate times that gets up through, it's later that the tears come.
