Experience of...

Anyone had any experience with Homeserve provided by United Utilities? I'm currently under Homecare 400 with British Gas, to cover electrics, plumbing CH etc, and thinking of switching as it's cheaper...

We had our central heating system installed by servowarm 20 years ago and homeserve took over the yearly service from servowarm a few years ago and we have had first class treatment no complaints at all and the engineers are very efficient.

We had homserve with N power, if its the same avoid at all costs!! We had them come out for a simply problem, it took 4 attempts for them to get it right, they tried to charge us a huge amount for 'maintenance work' when we queried it somone else came out and said the other guy was wrong and it was something very simple.
I've now cancelled my account, got compensation from them and are now with Britsh Gas.
