I am putting underfloor heating (geothermal fed) on the first floor of my new build . The floor is supported by wooden joists,Has anyone any views on what works best? I don't want to cut the joists.

You can run the pipework between the joists, but unless you have a suspended ceiling downstairs, you're going to have to notch the joists to install lateral connections in the pipework. Some other advice here.
