why do people get so upset because the odd pub doesn't want their little darlings running about screaming?

I know a few  locally that stay child free,   coincidentally they tend to be specialist real ale pubs, also without music, and slot machines.  Bliss!

One or two only allow children on Sundays.

Naomi Why is this thread allowed  to remain in the News Section .???😏

Slime and ooze section, surely.

Question Author

untwist the alans me old china, it's in news because it's news. It's on the BBC NEWS web site so it must be news, geddit?

Naomi this is not  news. please get it removed into CB because that is what it is ..Just idle chatter.😏Not News😏

Gulliver, look at the link, (you know what a link is don't you) see what the link says.

bbc/NEWS

mornin' gullz !

you want equal treatment for ABers ( such as voo)  - let not the words fall from his lips: - (*)" I get kicked, endure spiteful comments ( often from mods themselves) abuse, harrassment , more abuse, swear words, belittling mis-undertanding, misquoting deliberately and so should the other punters and teachers' pets!"

because Gullz you know that is a LIE !

God it has just occurred o me I can put that into NT greek,

mh phsoito toutoi hoi logoi kata stomoati autou

Musta read it somewhere - or googled it !

er no reader it is not a LIE ! because it only occurs to Gullz - for other reasons of taste

anyway, Battle cruiser is rhyming for grewzer - I just havent decided what the word I have just made up, means

off to the grewzer - tata punters !

Gullz I regard you as a life-affirming ABer !

It isn't just children. Some pubs have a ban on under-25's.

Webbo 09.21 Please obey site rule number two.My user name  is Gulliver1. ....Where are the mods?

^ reported for stupidity and because his name is webbo3 not webbo.

Naomi perhaps if *emeritus*asked you to remove this thread from the news section .It could happen.😏.

Thank you, I did call him gullible but in all fairness he was asking for what is clearly a news item to be removed from news if you look at the link.

Gulliver, it's in News because it is News.

Bet you if I  call "Webbo" ..Webb head  my answer will be removed .

Gulliver, if you want another little holiday away from AB, carry on.  This is the News section.  If you don't want to talk about the OP go somewhere else.

I don't mind kids in a pub during the afternoon sessions, but not in thw evenings, except for wedding receptions, etc. And then only until about 9 pm.

We took our kids for Sunday dinner to a variety of pubs when we both worked behind the bar and it was 3pm last orders. Mind you, my kids were ALWAYS very well behaved when Sgt Major Ken4155 was in attendance.

I should have said "pub-restaurants", not'pubs'.

Didn't it used to be the case that under-13s weren't allowed on licensed premises BY LAW?
