This is just a shot in the dark.

The tv hospital drama "The Royal" was filmed around Scarborough.The hospital was called ST Aiden's.Also heartbeat I think was set around Scarborough and Whitby.The funeral directors name was SCRIPPS.I'm probably way off the mark.

Juliely, I saw your question answered several days ago as 'Sweet pea'. Don't remember the details but it's something to do with Matt Groening, who drew The Simpsons and based Maggie on Popeye's baby, Sweet Pea.
It might be worth your while looking back through previous postings for details.

Valerieb, thanks for you reply, I had looked at the Royal connection, Re Mr Scripps, he is in Heartbeat which is filmed at Goathland, not Scarborough
