My mum loves poetry and is a great believer in god.
She also has late stage Alzheimers.
Unfortunately she is very detached from us now, but we can still connect with her by reading to her. She loves saying her prayers and loves any rhyming poetry.
I would love to find a book of prayers to read to her but am finding it hard to find rhyming prayers.
I would be very grateful if anyone could suggest one to me.
Thanks.

You may have to look at prayer books aimed at children - I hope that doesn't sound insensitive, but it is an idea.

No, not insensitive at all Mamyalynne. Do you know any that might suit?
Found this but with no real guide to what is within or any reviews.

Thanks 1ozzy - I will have a look at your link.
It appears to be free as an E-book.
Maybe time to get creative and try and make some up?
If you could be inspired enough to create some poetry of your own then it would include the personal touch.
Question Author
Thank you everyone for your suggestions as well as your kind words. I very much appreciate it.
Good idea about making up some poetry Answerprancer and I have done that in the past. However I don't have religion in my life so I feel ill equipped to write about it!
Do some rhymes on the beauty of nature - I'm sure she'd love something like that too.
