I have a new my space page, and i want to change the background so it isnt white, but I can't see how. Any ideas?

I've just done one and somehow I ended up on pimp-my-profile - there must be a link on my space to it or otherwise I wouldn't have found it. It seems quite straightforward to use.

these are good for myspace stuff immi. If you go on any of these sites, you will see layouts, they are what change your background. Copy the code for the one you want and then go into edit profile on myspace and paste into "about me" You do this for all the stuff you want on there copy and pasting into different sections on your profile.
