I have an item for sale and I need to put a photo on the web site. How do I do that? TIA

It depends on the website and what formats and methods they use.

I'm on an AppleMac.  So I open two tabs, one with the photo of the item and the second with the space where I need it to go.  Then I click on the photo and drag it into the required space.  Easy.

If you're not on a Mac I have no idea.

Most of those kind of selling websites will have  a box to click saying something like upload here. You need to have the picture saved on your own device in documents or pictures etc. The website will usually automatically go to the right storage place and you can click on the picture and upload.

If you are not on an everyday buying and selling site but on say a chat site(similar to this one for instance) Have the image in your files(probably file explorer if you are using windows) Open the image so that it is showing on your screen and "Right" click on the image. Choose, Copy image link from the menu. Open the site you are on and using right click again, and post the image link.

Thanks folks. That will keep me occupied until it is time to go outside and photograph the Northern Lights. Ta again.
