Unfortunately dad is back in hospital and the opinion is he may not make it through the night....please say a prayer to whichsoever God you follow that he may prove them wrong....xx
back from funeral..it went very well there were about 200 people there...I did have a wee blub in car going to church and a moment in the service..feel relief that that is done and dusted, but the loss will hit me in a few weeks or months and especially at Minty Day..mum in bits still and needs to rest now..as I do..strangely it did not affect me at graveside as I thought it would..the deed is done and we will just have to get on with life..but it is going to be very difficult..
Minty, glad the funeral went well. I hope and you will find it easier with time.
Believe me, it does get better and you will be able to remember your Dad without crying.
That's correct Minty - I think when you are at the graveside - everything becomes surreal - just a numbness. It will take a long time if ever to get over that loss of a lovely dad that you loved so much and probably forever for your mother.
I think it's a funny life you are prepared for everything but death. Hope you begin to feel a wee bit better. Jennyjoan
Thinking of you today Minty and sending my sincere sympathy. It was wonderful that so many people came to the service, he must have been very much liked. It helped me when my husband died that so many came to the service. Cherish that fact xxx
sorry murray the link seems to be male orientated - but so what - the words are there for you. bless you tonight as night-time is the hardest. But some how you come across a strong lady and God will be with you and your mum tonight. I have already lit a candle for you today - maxie lit one for you too - I lifted him up to the candle stand - he wanted to blow/actually bite them LOL them out. but anyway please get happy again. Everybody on this site enjoys your naughties and most of all your positives of life. Am praying more for mum. gnight minty.
