I sell a few items on eBay & if they do not sell, I often relist them. When I click on "relist now". When it comes to the section of my location, it shows an area I lived 10 plus years ago so I have to manually change it. This never happens when I list an item for the first time, it always shows my current location. I have checked through pages on eBay but can find no details remaining of my other, previous address. As the subject line says, I am puzzled!

Your ebay details must show your old location , there is no other way they could show it. Go to 'My Profile ' and edit it. I think you have to enter 'location' manually on your profile, it does not do it from your post code / address. 'Location' is where the item is, not where you are. Many people have a home / work ebay address away from the place where they store their items.
Another idea, are you using eBay 'quick sell' ? They have made that the default recently, I always use 'advanced sell' it gives a lot more options.

thanks Eddie for your replies. I have checked & checked again all the address settings & they are showing my location correctly. When I also go to "find a member" & type in my username, that too is right. I do always use the advanced sell not the quick. As I said previously, if I go now & list something when I get to the location bit, it is always right but once I relist an item which hasn't sold first time round this is where the location comes up stating I live in a different area. Next time I relist something I will use a hosting site to show you with a picture. Very odd & somewhat annoying
Contact eBay on the phone or on 'Live Chat' they are very helpful and can sort most problems out, there and then.
