I think is a magnanimous offer, from a family that Hopkins traduced with her wicked lies. Well done to them for the offer.

But I am not sure I would want that dreadful woman in my house, for afternoon tea !

I don't see it as point scoring either.Mr Mahmood seems very genuine in his offer and there was little evidence of bitterness on show. It would be interesting if Katie Hopkins did take up the offer and would hopefully provide a decent final chapter in what was a terrible and costly misjudgment on her part and her employer.

I disagree that she makes a career from other people's misery or misfortune. I think she often hits unsavoury nails squarely on the head.

Khandro...(10:24).....

"What Katie should say to him is, "Are you a good Muslim?" he must answer yes, and then she should say, then do you believe it is OK for a fifty-year-old man to marry and have sex with a nine-year-old girl?"

Now would this be before or after she has said sorry for traducing the families reputation ?
She's never had an original idea tho. She just jumps on the bandwagon of other peoples opinions and expands on them.
mikey; //Now would this be before or after she has said sorry for traducing the families reputation ? //

I haven't followed this story I admit, (I have found at least 15 Zahid Mahmoods on the internet) but if she has made a false accusation to the wrong man, she should apologise. I suggest that in the mood of apologising, she might ask him if he is prepared to apologise for the appalling crimes being committed against western democracies in the name of his religion.
Khandro,Mahmood was wronged by the comments in Hopkins' column.I hardly think that in the spirit of a possible visit that Mahmood should have to field such a question.
Khandro believes that an answer to the rising tide of islamification is to make Christianity strong again in Europe.

Ah hem.
//Khandro believes that an answer to the rising tide of islamification is to make Christianity strong again in Europe. //

Khandro subscribes to the spiritual vacuum theory. He may be right. I'm still an optimist who reckons that an intelligent evaluation of Islam (the ideology, NOT the 1.7b people (half of them women, some of them gay) unfortunate enough to have been "born" Muslims) will show that Islam is totalitarian and dangerous in much the same way as Nazism was, that there is no compromise possible between Islam (the ideology) and Western values, and that Islamisation (through mass migration, the export of hate by Saudis, Erdogan and Khamenei via mosques, imams etc, and "outreach" and "social cohesion" policies) must be halted.
Such evaluation requires a certain degree of intellectual curiosity and capacity. Also a willingness to sacrifice (if necessary) the sacred cow of multi-culturalism.
If Hopkins posed the question which Khandro suggests it would be tantamount to some sort of parlour game along the lines of 'Right,I've apologised but I think you should on behalf of all followers of Islam'.

Very few people would even have heard of Mr Mahmood if it wasn't for the column.Asking him to apologise would be counter-productive and singling him out disparagingly. You don't kick a man when he's down.

vortex, //Very few people would even have heard of Mr Mahmood if it wasn't for the column.//

That’s inaccurate. The story of him and his family being prevented from travelling to the US was carried by practically every national newspaper and all the mainstream news channels.

The question that Khandro poses at 10:41 Thu would, indeed, be an awkward one for Mr Mahmood to answer, but I see no point in asking him to apologise for crimes committed against western democracies in the name of his religion.
Naomi24,morning.I suppose we are straying into proportions but, yes, point taken ;-)

Lets hope that if this awful woman ever accepts this invitation for Tea, that the cameras will be there. After all Hopkins has never been known to run away from a media opportunity before has she ?
