OH and I were going into town. He was driving, suddenly a car pulled out of a parking space, no signal, we had to swerve very quickly and stop. The other car stopped, he flung his door open and moved quickly to our car, wrenched the door open and stuck his head in and said " now look mate I know I made a mistake, I'm sorry"
What a relief he looked so aggressive we both thought he was going to punch OH.
We laughed later but it was scary.

A chap I know genuinely cannot understand that he was in the wrong to follow a woman driver for more than 10 miles simply to point out to her that she had made a driving error.

She must have been terrified - this was in the days before mobile phones. Some people just have no self awareness

Good point, Mamya. Always lock myself in the car when I'm driving, or a passenger for that matter.

Didn't think to lock doors. Still getting used to new car.

I locked the doors in my new car, then couldn't open the door. I assumed that if I pulled the handle it would unlock and open.

Hoppy - On our car you have to pull the handle twice - try that.

I'll try that, and I might even read the manual. I unlocked by pressing the unlock button on the dashboard.

My car locks automatically after about twenty seconds after beginning a journey. At the end of the journey, the door opens with just one pull on the handle.
