Is this series worth watching ?

My wife couldnt tear herself away from the first 2 series - as far as I take it each pair of series has different actor / actresses portraying the main characters as they age.

anne - yes it definately is. 10 1 hour episodes per series and i was so sad when it ended

Anne I didn't think I'd like it but was persuaded by a friend and absolutely loved it. Try and binge watch the first two series before the new one starts.

Snap, Margot. Having given up on Victoria after about 4 episodes, i feared The Crown would be of a similar vein. Quite surprised to find myself enjoying it so much that i binge watched my way through both seasons. What you must do when watching, though, is to allow quite a bit of poetic licence - no good being pedantic if you want to enjoy it. Claire Foy is brilliant as HM but John Lithgow steals the show as Churchill, imho.

Very true Ken, stretched the truth in places but factual in the main. I'm sure Olivia Colman will do a great job as the Queen, really looking forward to it.
