Lions v All Blacks.

Very enthralling match so far. New Zealand don't look as assured as they usually are and our guys must sense they have a real chance of making the final. Pity about the disallowed try, though:-(

If you're beating the All Blacks so comfortably that you can afford to make some handling errors, and even afford to let two tries go begging to Video Ref decisions, I think maybe it's worth cutting some slack.
Wales will have to play well above themselves to win tomorrow.
Jim yes they played really well not taking anything away from them.
Great performance but they have to go one better in the final,
10cs // they have to go one better in the final,//
Why?
To win it. This win should not be the climax of the campaign. One more to go.
10cs. They only need to play as they did today.
one better 10cs, who is better than the ABs? That was the final!
It's no good giving your best performance in the semi, then failing in the final. As I said, a great performance today, but there is one more to go.
10cs, What makes you think that they have given their best performance?
I don't. I just hope they don't think they have.
According to the interviews after the game they don't.
Puzzled. Didn't we just beat the All Blacks ? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/rugby-union/scores-fixtures/2019-11-01
Or is that the 3rd/4th play off ?
Ok, scrub that. The BBC could have labelled it.
I am so pleased about the game, England deserved their win, now for Wales or SA. They played with strength, courage and massive tackling.
Both Wales and RSA will have looked at the way England dominated NZ today and have had an audible gulp.

Barring a disaster England will win the World Cup, even against an improving and bruising RSA (I can't see Wales beating South Africa - they were poor against France plus they lost one of the world's best fullbacks for tomorrow's game through injury).

I can't decide what I want more - for Wales to lose tomorrow, or for us to beat them in the final should they manage to beat RSA.
Superb defence and Young's disallowed try was a try - that was an All-Black hand in there.....Man of the Match was spot on in Itoje and, for me, I said it last week, Tom Curry for Man of the Series.....but there were so many good performances....Ford and Farrell as well.

I gather the French Monsieur Plonqueur Sebastien Vahaamahina, the red-carded No8 has announced his retirement. If I was Macron, I would have extradited him.....
I’m really surprised Young’s they was disallowed. Underhill’s was the correct decision, but Owens (who I consider to be the best ref in the world) got that one wrong.
I love this game with an all encompassing passion, and I really miss playing it. Stopped playing in a vets side a few years ago as my body just couldn’t take it any more, so now my Sunday mornings are vested in my son who is turning into what appears to be a half decent number 11 (or as a mate of mine says, that means he can’t pass or tackle!).

Can’t wait for tomorrow morning.

This has been a great World Cup. My only regret is that Japan aren’t in tomorrow’s semi, although that regret is tinged with a bit of relief as they wouldn’t be able to beat Wales.
