Hi everyone, can someone tell me what colour soil pipe is best to use above ground? All the info I’ve been reading mentions orange best below ground but no mention of orange or black above ground.

The colour is not really the issue but whether it is UV stable or not is important - always assuming you are installing PVC pipe. Grey and/or white and in some cases black are generally sold as being UV stable, there may be other colours available.
Orange underground only. Black, White and grey above ground.............
Orange is OK if it is UV stable.
Just make sure it matches the curtains Paul;-))
The underground system although made from exactly the same materials does not include a colour fastness stabiliser that is present in the soil range of pipe and fittings so therefore will turn a lighter shade of brown over time. This is non detrimental to the functioning of the pipe and fittings......but may have an impact on the appearance of the property later.
Paint it whatever colour you like.

Thanks everybody for your answers, I’ve got plenty of black pipes in stock and as KARL says it’s sometimes sold as uv stable that’s what I’ll use as I’m only building a solar shower to sit on top of our old greenhouse. I just didn’t want it to disintegrate after the first year or so. Must say ladybirder your answer tickled me and Old_Geezer I’ll be painting it Matt black to absorb as much heat as possible. Once again thanks to you all.
