Antique Dolls Pram In Need Of Renovation

Due to downsizing I have to part with my late wife's dolls pram, which she played with in the early 1950's, even though it was several years old then!

Although it is now in much need of renovation, I really don't want to just throw it out, it still has its original painted coachwork, for instance, and it would be great to know it could be restored

I'm not looking for cash for it, but it would be great if anyone could point me in the direction of someone, or some company, who would be interested in repairing it. Any advice would be most welcome.

I wondered about that, Etch but Wiltsman may not want to take part in the programme.
Would they put Wiltsman in touch with someone who would take it on without appearing because I'd hate to think it went to landfill? Someone would love it.

I'd give anything to have my 1950s doll's pram back.... :-)

I'm not certain that I would want to appear on The Repair Shop, but gness, I think your idea of contacting the programme to see if they could put me in touch with someone who could help me in getting the dolls pram renovated is a great idea. I've found a photo of a 1950s vintage pram in our family album - sadly, it had to be left behind when we moved in 1960, along with my Hornby clockwork train set. :-(

i dont understand why on earth you would renovate it if you are getting rid of it for free - let whoever takes it from you get it renovated if they want

you also say "it would be great to know it could be restored" well the answer is yes, it could be. You dont need to spend any money to find that out
