Hi all, as previously posted re OH and his broken hip. When he was flown home his bag was thrown in the hold. When he came home he found the spare battery for his cochlea hearing Implant was broken. He has looked into buying a new one as replacements are not provided free. He has just paid almost £200 for one.
His insurance saved him about £30. Who would have thought such a tiny thing could cost so much.

Yes, my tiny new hearing aids cost me £1,600 (not on NHS I may add)
NHS did try but what they were offering were so bulky.
