anyone else absolutely enthralled by the snookerthis year?

question:if you pot a red AND a colour in the same shot when you are going for a red (red first, colour next) does it count?

id actually like both wilson and gilbert to win

14:06 Well the judge did say:

"Warning: the answer involves a highly theoretical event which is absolutely never likely to happen in practice."

-16

All reds are potted but the players go in off every time (reds are not replaced)

Score for the reds = -60

All the colours are potted, legitimately = 27

Total score  possible between the 2 players = -33

Therefore -16 beats -17

He doesn't need to go in off - 15 reds = 1, share the colours 13/14.  Winner scores 15.

no jj, Despite what it sayd in the rules, in snooker the fouls are added to the opponents score.

"18-12, hardly a demolition"

I know but it felt like it. The way Johnson played. He blew him away really shot wise if not frame wise. Davis once said he was devastated at losing to Taylor much more but with time he became more upset by the Johnson defeat

Damn!

Star prize to Tora (he probably remembered from this time last year).  😂

"oh yes - pot 15 reds with one shot! magic "

Be fair dave. I did say it would never happen!

14:10 nope 15 reds = 15

PS - I hope Bingo wins. He has underachieved since his last win.

ah - ok

Time maybe to revive that old chestnut about the highest possible break where the score after each shot as called by the referee is a prime number 😄

I would imagine more, but I shall throw in the first guess at 37.

11? Blue + pink

37

2R =2

Blue 5 = 7

4R = 11

Pink = 17

6R = 23

Pink = 29

2 reds = 31

Pink = 37

yes I see jj,  following on the theme of multiple read potting!

Sorry NJ. Only read the first bit!😥

15 reds potted from the break off. Pot the yellow. Then pot the colours in order.

15+2+27=44

^^^^ melv - you didn't read the replies so far? The answer is 16.

15?

Player 1

all 15 reds, misses colour 1

yellow 3

green 6

brown 10

blue 15 then misses the pink

Player 2:

pink 6

black 13
