would my wife have to know?
rb, husha your mouth!! lol
I am just in the process of finalising a DIY divorce. should get the decree absolute in the next week or so. I don't think you can do it online as it has to go through your County Court, you may be able to use an online solicitor and save a little bit, but I done it all myself

You just need to contact your local court and ask them to send you all the relevant paperwork, it is a little tricky to fill it all in as it uses a lot of legal jargon but you will get a help leaflet with it.
getting divorced online equates to a company charging you 40 quid for the paperwork which is free from the courts anyway. All they do is give you a guide on how to fill it in, which isnt that difficult anyway. The whole process cost me 200 pounds 3 years ago.
If you are in receipt of benefits it will all be free if you do it yourself as you wont have to pay court charges.
