Attaching photos using Hotmail

Hiya, previously if I wanted to attach a photo to an email with Hotmail I had the option of selecting attach file or attach photo, but now I don't have this option so when I attach a photo it appears as a full size image and takes aaaaaages to attach. Is there any way of attaching a photo without having to resize it first like I used to be able to?
