Hey Crafty I am not a newsy!

I suspect any recovery is down to increased car sales.

The car scrappage scheme, which caused the surge in sales, is about to end.
It has probably caused some people to have brought forward a future purchase, so there may be an induced drop due to this.

Vat has gone back to 17.5%.
Whoever wins the election will almost certainly raise VAT to 20%.

I can see car sales plummeting very badly, so what will drive the economy now?
i honestly cant say that i have seen that many 59 (or 10..when are they out?) plates around.
