Give your vet a phone - I have always found my vet to be really helpful when I phone. Hope it turns out to be nothing to worry about.
yes, and as wolf63 said please contact the vet
We got two bengal crosses in august, we picked them up two days after they had there second vacsination, they both had lumps the size of golf balls, they were not on there neck but more on there sides, well above there ribs but very promenent below there spine but high up if you know what I mean ( hopefully you do ) it took 2 weeks for the swelling to subside. I have been told it's common but a worry to look at, I think in some animals the vaccination leaks into pockets of either fat or just under the skin, don't keep prodding the lumps, but they will take time to dissolve/subside. mine were fine, and now have no lumps.
Iwould give all the cats who shyte in my garden a boost, about 5000 volts.
I'd like to do the same to all the dogs who sh1t on the pavements in our village owdhamer.

thankyou wolf63, katburd and Josaphine32 for your answers, I phoned the vet and Was told this was a reaction to the injection, I have to take my cat back tuesday for her second jab so the vet will check her over then....thanks again for your help

owdhamer quite strage remarks considering you have a horse as your profile pic

daffy again not very nice thoughts for someone who has a very caring symbol as there profile.

I dont quiet understand why you even bother to look on the animal and nature section !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I said what I did because I am sick of dog lovers saying nasty things about cats, it is quite funny how most people will accept these comments about cats but God help you if you say it about dogs!

For the record, I would never hurt any animal.

To answer your Q about why I come in the pets section, it was because I saw the title of your thread and thought I might have been able to help, the question wasn't what I expected though.
