The two most revered persons in Chriistianity are Jesus and Mary, but in the bible Mary is barely, if ever, mentioned .

1. During Jesus's life . ?
2. '' trial . ?
3. '' Crucifixion ?
4. at the tomb ?
5. During the Resurrection ?
This last one being the most surprising of all . Of all people, Mary his mother surely would be the first one he want to give comfort to and he totally failed to do so at any time.

Well of course you realise that in the olden days, Jewish women did not mix with the men and did not attend furnerals.

"Well of course you realise that in the olden days, Jewish women did not mix with the men and did not attend furnerals."

Very true, and also, at the time, unless they were in the upper echelons of power they were also (unfortunately) quite insignificant, so any mention at all is a surprise. Hence, she only pops up randomly at the important stages of the life of Jesus, and only referred to by some of the gospel writers.
Yes, you are right, Mary has been ignored by the historians who wrote these books. Compared to that there is a complete chapter in Quran in her name.
Keyplus, you forget that very many ancient texts aren’t included in the bible. Where do you think Mohammed got his information from? It was all there before he was born – even the story of the clay birds that came to life.
Nonetheless, keyplus' point is still valid, Mary has had more exposure in Islamic history and culture.
I didn't say it wasn't valid.
