Just noticed that a very recent post (Animals & Nature .. twitching) did not appear in Latest Posts - seems to have disappeared.

New posts on threads over a month old don't show in Latest Post, Hazlinny.

I had posts added to an older thread that never appeared in "latest posts".πŸ™„

so that explains itπŸ˜‚

That's because they are old threads, dave.  See my previous post.

Thanks Naomi - I seem to recollect being told that on a previous occasion!!

Does a new thread need to be started each month to follow this subject?

that's why I said it was explained!

If you want to keep the topic current for everyone who's interested, you can post a new thread monthly - perhaps with a link to the older thread if you think that's helpful.  That way all the posts that month will show in Latest Posts.

I think it's time that feature was removed, I understand in the past when all latest posts were seconds apart but now when in comparison they are few and far between (only about 4 or 5 threads a day in CB, the alumni woud be horrified 🀣) the more chance of people joining in old discussions the better. One month is far too quick. I know it was also used way back for members to chat to one another almost in secret but let's be honest AB does not have that type of membership that needs to form cliques, secret groups and covens anymore.

Yes, sorry Dave.  You weren't there when I posted.  We crossed.

Thanks, Naomi.  Agree with what Prudie states.

You're welcome.
