yes I could see that a face shield, while it will protect the WEARER from spatter, it won't protect those around from the exhaled breath of the visor wearer....actually it won't protect the wearer from exhaled breath either.
They are not comfortable, Zylaphone but try to find one shaped more like the head of an axe rather than a flat pleated one. I've experimented with many and the axe head one is much better.
If Reggie is your dog I have no suggestions but when I have time I'll try to make a doggie acceptable mask..... :-)
The actual wording of the law is. . .
“face covering” means a covering of any type which covers a person’s nose and mouth.
As I see it, a face shield does NOT fully conform to that requirement. If I was a store manager, I'd refuse entry to anyone who was only wearing a face shield.
Zylaphone. I have a huge stash of funky fabrics. One often requested by friends for a mask is the lime green one covered in little funny bats. Now if you can find a fabric with lots of bones or cats on it that would be fantastic on Reggie.. :-)
