maple syrup products

does anyone know where I can buy maple sugar, cream and butter from a uk mail order company? I know I can get it straight from Canada and the US but the p and p and customs make this very expensive.

yes Jno, insulation in new fridges is thicker to make them more energy efficient.....having screws left over is always worrying.....have you checked your wooden leg?. It has tipped it down here today and one of my gutter downpipe joints leak so there has been a decorative but annoying waterfall between me and the garage where the freezer is.

My Mexico is furious that I am still waiting for a breast mammogram and also that I have been waiting 10 months to see the specialist about my shoulder! I have to go to the Patients Attention office and nudge them. I think I'll have a private mammogram to stop al this messing about. She had a good feel and said she cannot feel anything untoward which is a relief!

Dull and breezy here too but at least it's not raining ...yet.It was grim yesterday and after a bright start went downhill fast and turned really cold and wet.

Friday the 13th! I should have known and stayed in bed! GBF was taking me to san antoni waitrose and the car conked out halfway there! The crane lorry was 60 mins away so I decided to get the local bus but I had no idea where the bus stop was! I walked 200 meters, couldnt find it so asked in this very posh furniture shop and he pointed out that I had to wall back a way!! It must have ben my face cos he then offered to drive me to my village. I was so pleased and was in a comfy Merc. He refused any money and was so nice
He was a young German chap and we had a good natter on the way.

hello all been wrapping and packing today Gifts for middle sis and her family will be collected monday and delivered to them on tuesday, Best friend (her younger son is my adopted godson) and family gifts all wrapped and ready, cards being written tomorrow and any extras made and then I can put the craft stuff away and do a good clean and tidy.

good morning. We had a buzzy dog eating fly in the house last night. It took me until 1 am to find it and murder it then I had to get the dogs settled. Good job i am organised or I would be panicking today! Yes the avatar is one of a set of free printable downloads from a website called Navage Patch. You have to register and get emails from them to get the downloads. worth it I think

Well it may have been 200 miles,I dont really know!! It felt like 200 miles!!
Today Mr N took me to waitrose in San An and unspent 200€ on xmas treats! As I was paying I noticed that he had been bunging odds and ends in the trolley!! It is nice to be able to have English bits and pieces as Spanish isnt the same even after 48 years!

I've never come to terms with metric Neti. I still measure in rods, poles and perches :)
I can't visualise metric distance and as for weights,years ago when first living in Germany I came home with enough spuds and ham to feed the five thousand.
I've just spent nearly an hour trying to get all my toolbar stuff back.
I managed somehow to shrink the page and couldn't get it back.Thank goodness I have my phone so I could get info on how to do it.I lost all my bookmarks and stuff. I'm a metric and tech idiot.

I use grams and kilos and feet and inches! I havent a clue about cm and metres
Im looking for a new duvet cos the cover from ebay was meant to be a king but its at least a foot wider but the duvets here are all in cms and just dont match! Can't return it not the right size!

We decided to go ivuza and find a nice Spanish restaurant for just a nice tasty plateful. We literally walked the whole length and breadth of Ibiza and found nothing. So we came back to Sta E and had a nice plateful in a restaurant not far from home. I was so tired and ny kegs ached, so fell asleep on settee!

How did I miss this? It's fabulous.No wonder they gave James Spader the part of Reddington.William Shatner is great too. I loved the episode about the gay Santa and Shore won the case and the bet and the other lawyer had to dress up as an elf.I nearly fell off the sofa laughing. Thanks for recommending it.
