does anyone know where I can buy maple sugar, cream and butter from a uk mail order company? I know I can get it straight from Canada and the US but the p and p and customs make this very expensive.

We went for a walk and then a couple of drinks, it was so humid absolutely unbearable so I went in the pool
Well now me it thundered and so I got out as am scared of water and lightning. Its cooler now buy the flies are everywhere. Am covered in calamine lotion!

I saw Downton the grand event with Derek Hougj. It was the real.cou t and cou tess showing around the castle and the actors all talking.about their joy at being together again with the film,.
It was really interesting.

I don't seem to have achieved much in the last few days. jno jnr phoned up to say hellow and I couldn't think of a thing to tell him about what I've been up to. He is going on a tour of well-designed houses tomorrow, arranged by some design magazine, so I expect some knick knacks he's liked the look of will turn up in our Christmas stockings.

I managed to achieve getting the leaky window replaced in the sun room and that's about it apart from having the boiler serviced yesterday. It's a wonder it's still chugging along but it's on death row now and is going to have to be replaced sooner rather than later.Bullet bitten and we're going to get some quotes.
Weather is grim,raining and dull.Hope you're all ok.

Morning..still too hot. I've managed to buy a new decoder for Spanish tv as the old one went on the blip and I installed it myself but it was easy. Next job is to get Mr N to paint the bedroom white. I had a fit about 6yrs ago and had it shades of purple. Has to go!!

The island is a mess with TC collapsing. Hotels arnet.paid u til about Novemeber for the past season so a lit ate having to close early. I feel so sad for the workers they have nothing as there is no benefit system here. It will aff2ct the whole of the Balearics as if there is no money then the people wont have bathroom/kitchen refits. At least Mr N has winter work although he retires in January!

Shaney have just seen a clip on internet where Maggie Smith changed her linedo she may be in the next film.
It should have been "I do not have long to live", but she changed it on the actual filming to "I may not have long to live."..Apparently no one on set dared to challenge her!

Crikey Neti ,She was getting on at the start of it in 1912 so she'll be be really ancient if there's another film or series and Dame Maggie is no spring chicken herself.
Having said that ,neither am I.I think I'll do a dowager and bang my stick on the floor.This wet weather is no good for this old dame and her dodgy bones.

The dreaded aches and pains. I get them here because of the humidity! I am seriously thinking of getting a stick as when I walk to the bottom of our land to the postbox or gate I use a broom handle
Have an app for the hospital next week but no idea what it is for as Mr N took the csll and didnt ask ! I think its to sign me off from rehab but shoulder is still so painful but no way am I spending another month in rehab!

Get one of those fold up ones like I have Neti then you can always put it away in your bag if you don't need it on flat surfaces and get it out again for the rocky bits.It's not a good look though and I don't like it or the wheelie but needs must otherwise I would never go out.

I have a poorly Mr N at home. He should have gone to work but I insisted he stay home after last time 4 years ago when he plodded on until he literally collapsed and I had to get the Spanish guardia civil to the house . I've made him chicken and veg soup and hes had a bowl and back to bed
He didnt eat for days last time so I am making sure he gets a little sustenance
He'll be right as rain tomorrow.
