Would you consider an older car to escape the taxman's wrath?

With road tax hikes hitting those with 2001-2006 registered cars, would you consider selling up and buying a pre-2001 model to escape the tax mans wrath?

reverse lights and sensor not working

I drive a Renault Laguna II 04, recentley when i put it in reverse the lights don't come on and the sensors are not activated for the reverse sensors, any ideas, i think it could be a fuse but i cant...

timing marks for a peugeot 206 gti

im having problems locating timing marks on a 206 gti (134bhp) 2003 i have found the top 2 pin holes but cannont find the flywheel lock pin! also in the autodata book it shoes this car with 4 bolts...

Hi Just bought 1.8 LX mondeo but no handbook, red warning light - " car pic from above showing front doors open" - centrally placed in dash lit up, checked obvious things like doors not closed...

how bad does this offence have to be for the police to take it to court,surely every motorist who has a collision would have to of been driving without due care?every minor car bump in a car park...

Temperature Gauge not working on a 51 plate Vectra
