I think that the people who have lived both outside and within ‘The Common Market’ will mostly want out, but the younger generation who have grown up knowing no different will want to stay.
They are used to seeing people flooding into the country, having non-english speaking classmates, waiting 2 weeks for a doctors appointment, and on and on.
Then of course, there are the “lets wrap our arms round the rest of the world” bleeding hearts.
I am looking forward to putting my X in the “out” section of the ballot paper, but I’m not sure enough others will be doing the same.
