Eu Re-Join March – London 22 October
Some of you may not be aware of the growing movement in support of the UK re-joining the EU given the disaster that Brexit has been for the UK. There are now many who believe the UK re-joining is inevitable.
For those wanting to attend the re-join march, the assembly point is the Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, London at midday.

To the Brexiteers amongst you, having failed to list a single benefit from Brexit despite my continued asking (on this site); the question now before you is to list a single negative that would result from us re-joining?

'“Deserters will not be welcomed with open arms,” he told the French newspaper. “If the British were to say ‘no’ — which I hope they don’t — then community life would not continue as before. The UK would have to accept being considered as a third country, which won’t be handled gently.
“This is not a threat, but our relations will no longer be as they are today.”'

I simply cannot understand why people don't realise or don't want to realise that the rest of Europe and the rest of the rich countries are in a bad way too. I do not for one minute regret leaving the EU. I feel glad we did. I do regret now what has happened to our Government forcing out Boris and electing such a weak and useless prime minister.
Having just finished my Sunday bath (long soak), I’ve not read any posts that convince me why we should not re-join. NJ’s posts have been cited, but he admitted that he wanted to leave the EU come what may – and did not provide a convincing reason to leave (other than he has always wanted to).
But it is clear from the posts that the Brexiteers have taken an entrenched position and will not change their minds even if the government was to admit what a disaster Brexit is.
But if any future UK government is looking to increase the country’s growth – there is an easy win available, by re-joining the EU.

To those who think re-joining to EU is pie-in-the-sky, take a listen to this youtube video (you might learn something), the presenter points out some of the difficulties in re-joining – but nevertheless thinks it’s inevitable (that we will re-join).
Don’t let the fact that the presenter is anti-Tory put you off – after all, right now most of the country is.

C’mon guys, stop being so negative! We’ve got two massive bags of sovereignty, that’ll keep the home fires burning until we’re back on our feet, a top ranking player once again in world affairs and trade agreements.
Not.
Strange too that some claim they’ve already listed the benefits of Brexit but won’t deign to do so again?
It’s almost as if a sudden realisation is dawning….
