Following their disasterous recent election performance the PM is planning a brutal reshuffle. Hopefully he will start with these:

Chancellor: £57bn black hole.

Leader of the commons: Mentioning Muslim rape gangs = "dog whistle politics.

Ed Milliband: Bankrupting the country with "net zero" fantasy madness.

Deputy PM: Bullying firms to build anywhere and everywhere, green belt, flood plains etc

David Lammy: Embarrasing us on 5 continents.

Hopefully he will also fall on his "long knife" after getting shot of that lot.

He should be the first to go but the rest are just as bad.

Nothing to see here, normal for politics.

There could well be something to see.  He promised some of those people a job for the duration - but he's not big on keeping promises.

The problem is, who does he choose as replacements?

And after he has fallen on his own sword, who replaces him?

13:38 good point judge but it will be fun while it happens.

Is this wishful thinking or is there any substance to your claim?

some good quotes here:

https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2015/oct/03/denis-healeys-10-most-celebrated-quotes-former-labour-chancellor

I think being "savaged by a dead sheep" might fit a 2TK sacking.

And "Being chancellor is not a woman’s job" fits for the present holder of that office.

I can't see any plans for this, TTT.  Just random vague rumours.

Wishful thinking.

Opponents of the government will have to endure 4 more years of it.  By that time the slightly wobbly start will be long forgotten and we'll all be safely in the sun-lit uplands.

un-lit uplands if Millipede has owt to do with it 🤣

"....the slightly wobbly start..."

That's rather like saying the Second World War was a bit of a dust-up.

^Yes, a mere scuffle.  🤣

sandyRoe, short memory there, every labour government have made a mess, iv been around long enough to have see a few, iv never voted for any of the main ones, always the oddball parties as iv seen they are all basically dreadful, i do think blair was by far the worst with unfettered immigration from ex soviet countries, and clueless gordy browne.

SDS at its finest.

Oh dear, I see we're having a right whinger love in.

Etc etc.

I wouldn't mind if Lammy went though. He's embarrassing.

2.58pm - you come out with guff like that just to convince yourself because anybody with any objectivity knows this shower of clowns of a Govt is the worst in living memory.

I've just been sent a clip of Starmer blaming the Tories for the fact that in 2025 there has been 10,000  illegals arriving by boat. I generally can't stand all politicians, but the gaslighting by this Govt is off the scale.

I think one or two of your titles belong elsewhere :-

Bankrupting the Country: Kwasi Kwarteng

Embarassing us on 5 continents: Lynne Truss

Disasterous recent election: Tory's record defeat in last GE

Perhaps you're bitter bcause he's lasted much longer than a lettuce 😁
