The current deal has unsatisfactory arrangements for movement of goods between the UK and Northern Ireland. It also imposes costs on UK exporters to the EU, particularly on livestock and farm produce.
Brexit has to mean no return to the customs union and single market (including free movement of citizens).
//and you may be able to go through the much quicker EU gates at European airports. But I dare say you'll refuse, and wait proudly in the foreigners' queues?//
In my Brexit world, Brexiteers would be at the back of any queue to enter Europe (so that they can fully enjoy and appreciate a Brexit benefit).
But I doubt many would be concerned at such a scheme, very few of those wanting to turn us into North Korea would want to travel abroad IMHO.
I’ve noticed that Brexiteers on here object to suffering the consequences of Brexit; maybe if more were to be directly affected by their vote, they would think seriously what would happen say, if a country was to decide to place trade barriers between themselves and their nearest & largest import/export market.
I think if Starmer puts his signature to a document that concedes half of the many points being on the table, he will be signing the biggest political sucicide note in history, and will consign the Labour party, at the next General Election, to the history books, and will guarantee Farage & co will form the next government.
chatPGtips: "Can there be any doubt that this post is proof that even with crystal clear evidence" - I've never seen any "evidence" crystal clear or otherwise, only cherry picked figures and the rantings of online obsessives.
"...even when they have been proven wrong on multiple occasions?" - again I have never seen any "proof" only the rantings of the terminally deluded.
