many thank hypotheses, I saw the urinary tract thing bookbinder, clamour of a sort?

Utis (Shakespeare), clamour, din. Chambers.

Can someone explain the title, Poem VIII? Other than it being a line from a poem, what does the VIII mean?

PiffPoff, I just took it that the setter had set previous similar, numbered, puzzles - but I didn't check.

Thanks!

Thanks, PiffPoff. I have just had a quick look through the archives - the setter had Poem VII in March 2022, I expect there were earlier ones too.

I see. That never occurred to me. I don't think I was solving Spectator puzzles back in 2022. Even if I was, I don't think I would have remembered that! So thanks.
