Some unusually competitive racing on offer today given what lies around the corner. 

Sandown provides 4 races for the ITV 7 with 2 more from Wolverhampton and 1 from Hereford.

Looked through the cards last night and picked a 7. Got a brother in town and off out early to take him for a run out. Just waiting to see if there are any withdrawels as some runners have entries next week. Big odds punt at Sandown today. I think my ITV& was showing £25million/1 last night. Haha.

Whew.   Its only £14.6million/1 this morning. That's a relief then my chances are judged to have got better overnight. 🤣

The Champion Hurdle looks like a cracker on Tuesday. Looks like Constitution Hill vs Ireland with mullins sending Lossiemouth, Elliot sending the very good Brighterdaysahead, who has given the Mares Hurdle a miss after looking guaranteed to win it, to run in this and State Man another Mullins horse who is also no slouch. They will be taking it in turns to pick off Constitution Hill no doubt. Lossiemouth still holds an entry in the Mares Hurdle so it is all a bit hugger mugger.
