...as opposed to a bad Friday punt, hopefully 🤞.

Today's ITV7 carries a jackpot of £10K and comes from Newcastle and Lingfield. The first leg is the 2.25 Newcastle.

Had a couple of winers yesterday in a R Robin, Regal Envoy and Power Fizz, but, more importantly, i got two forecasts up; Bullet Point/TribalChief and the mug's f/c, Dakota Gold/Aberama Gold. Tribal Chief was the other horse in my R Robin. A good day, overall.

I really ought to be in my element! 3 meetings with no less than 19 handicaps, most with double-figure entries. Problem is, none of the events at the 3 meetings have been going long enough to establish any sort of worthwhile stats.

So, it's a case of some research, gut instinct and, more importantly, my 'lucky' pin. To paraphrase Capt Oates, 'I may be some time'.

Not the biggest fan of the artificial surfaces but the racing looks pretty hot with top prize money as well. They are all gonna be "trying". We are going to venture out for the afternoon, despite the crazy traffic and the bad weather, so on handy. Just done the ITV7 as that took long enough to ponder split into ****E/W Acca, Doubles and Trebles.###Win Trixie. Good Luck to you all.

Ditto with the a.w., Togo, but as that's all we have on offer...

I've taken a leaf out of the 'Willie Mullins finding winners guidebook' with a sort of scatter-gun approach. In plain English, i've done 3 L15s. The main one being;

2.40 L;  Bravo Zulu @ 9/1 - 4 places (RFc Legal Reform)

3.15 L;   Pals Battalion @ 8/1 - 4 places

3.35 N;  Run Boy Run @ 12/1 - 5 places (RFc Marshman)

3.50 L;   Lady Manzor @ 7/1 - 4 places (£5 win)

20p L15, 2 x £1 e.w. accas. 4 placed = £99, 4 winners = £19,390.

A more speculative bet with e.w. singles on the two big prices;

1.30 L;  Sun Dancer Girl @ 16/1 - 5 places (RFc Tortured Soul)

1.50 N;  Berkshire Whisper @ 9/2 - 5 places

2.05 L;  Arcadian Nights @ 8/1 - 5 places

4.20 L;  Further Measure @ 28/1 - 5 places

20p L15, 2 x £1 e.w. accas. 4 placed = £243, 4 winners = £50,605.

And then there's Chelmsford;

1.40;  Charlie Mason @ 9/2 - 4 places

2.50;  Sir Maxi @ 9/2 - 4 places

3.25;  Kondratiev Wave @ 15/2 - 4 places

5.00;  Lord Rapscallion @ 14/1 - 5 places

20p L15, 2 x £1 e.w. accas. 4 placed = £77, 4 winners = £8,247.

I had wanted to take Cloud Cover (2.25 New) on with Brazilian Rose, but i've done them in a RFc.

Add Storm Star and Old Harrovian to the above qualifiers for the ITV7 and a £1 e.w. acca.

Best of luck, all.

Gotta look at the football, now. A punter's work is never done😉

Hah, missed that mugs f/c in the opener at Chelmsford😐

200/1 winner in the opening race of the ITV7! 22lb wrong in the weights, too. Yet there are still 262 tickets going into the next leg. How? Just How?
