I frequently get an error message when trying to send a Gmail, specially if it's replying to one:

"Oops... a server error occurred and your email was not sent. (#007)"

Just over the last month or so, and apparently at random. It won't save these emails as drafts, either.

Anyone know what's happening, or what I might do about it? (I have Hotmail and other email accounts but would prefer to use Gmail.)

There are various suggestions here, including: (a) simply log out of Gmail and log back in again ; (b) clear the cache and cookies from your browser ; and (c) if you're using Internet Explorer, use a different browser https://productforums.google.com/forum/#!topic/gmail/2RPrrWUUYzg Perhaps trying each of them might lead you to a solution?

Happy Easter Monday! Its actually a fiesta here for the first time in years so another lazy do nothing day!
We ate out yesterday and of course it was showery. Terraces only allowed but we were protected. It made a nice change but the wine knocked me for 6 as I dont drink at home. Sunny again today! *** law!
Jno I'm surprised OH can mix with baby as my sis couldn't when she was having chemo! But nice for you all.
I'm itching to get pottering but Mr N is on the settee and having a day off and he impedes my progress!

I don't believe it, it's snowing here. Light but definitely snow. We will be attending the snuggling under the fleece fiesta.
Good morning all, we had our Easter feast on saturday so that Sis would be here long enough for her share of the cold leftovers as she leaves on wednesday morning. Its quite march-esque weather here, cold and windy but big patched of brightness and scudding cloud. I can touch my feet when my back allows. Neti how are your feet?
waves to Shaney and Robi

out yesterday that landline wasnt accepting calls as sis couldn't get through . Got it sorted today with a nice spanish chappie on the other end. When they answer they ask if one is over 65 and then we get immediate attention. Mr N was out so I had to move the huge bed to get to all the plugs but nice Spanish chappie got it all working again from afar! Was going to phone mexico bit feet are a nice pale shade so I will wait. I absolutely abhor phoning gthe mexico as she mumbles and I'm getting so deaf . I can still touch my toes. I've always been able too even when 9 months pregnant. Could even touch elbows on floor without bending legs but that involved painful almost sideways splits. I've given that up!!
Lovely day here again and am staying in. Just pottering!
Hello all
Freezing cold and snowing hard atm.Laying too.Hope it soon clears away.I want hot !
Hope you're all ok. I can still touch my toes and do so on a regular basis as advised by the physio to stretch my spine.Your feet sound better Neti.Perhaps you won't need to go the mexico after all.
Same old otherwise.
Unfortunately shaney I still need my 6 monthly check up for thyroid and kidneys etc which is now 3 months overdue.
Now we are getting messages to phone a covid number if we havent had our jabs. I give up!!
Oh and gorgeous weather here!!

it is a sultry 7 degrees here but not snowing today.

A friend in Australia emailed me about a wonderful wine he'd had, even though it was expensive. So I have ordered a bottle, but emailed him back to point out that though it comes from France, it's more expensive in London than in Melbourne. Brexit, I suppose.
My sis has sent me a packet of M&S knickers. Just waiting to see if I have to pay duty on them!
Freezing here today and dull

we are both going to have Jab Part 2 on Saturday morning, just in time for shops reopening (not that I'll be going to any for a while)
Afternoon all
Nice day and not as cold as it has been.
Our second dose will be beginning of May but the only shop I'll be rushing to is the hairdresser, come hell or high water.I can't stand it much longer I feel so scruffy.
Yes much dearer imported goods creeping in Jno. No Keldermans stone baked bread or proper quark in Sainsbury's.If they do manage to get the bread it's gone up by 50p and the only quark is watery british produced muck.
I hope you don't have to pay duty Neti.
Nothing doing otherwise. Hope you're all well.
that's great Jno. Sis is waiting to hear when hers will be (2nd) I have just spent an unconscionable amount of money on two Seasalt linen tunics in Marks because they are doing them in Big Panty Woman sizes which Seasalt themselves do not. Most I have ever ever spent on clothes except coats and wellies. I hope you get your knix ok Neti. Its a lovely spring day here. Waving to Shaney and Robi
oo that looks intersting thank you
Still waiting for vaccine numero uno! Shouldn't be too long now. Think they are starting on the 79 y olds but 70 - 79 y old is the largest group of people.on the island! Sunny today but rain expected mañana and Saturday!!
And yes deep joy we Re going to de escalate to tier 2 on saturday and may fly anywhere from Monday without a justification!!
RIP prince Philip sir. I loved him!

sell your story to the Sun, neti!

Good news, OH is being given a two-month break from the treatment. It was getting to the point where the exhaustion from each chemo was spillng over into the "off" week. As it all seems stable at the moment (which won't last forever of course), they've suggested a few weeks off with time for a battered body to recover would be more use than more infusions and transfusions.

just had some darlishous ice cream for dessert. A tub of apricot, honey and yoghurt, from Waitrose. Mmmm.

https://darlish.com/

Jno that is excellent news. I hope there is some warm sunny weather coming your way to enjoy as well. I am rather a fan of waitrose icecream, also their mango sorbet is pretty damn good
Hello all
Sad news about Prince Philip.A long life well lived.

That's good to hear Jno. A bit of R&R will do you both good and I hope things continue on an even keel.
That ice cream sounds really nice but much as I like ice cream it doesn't like me these days.I'm ok with sorbet though. It's been a bit of a dull day here and we've had showers of rain .
Time for bed for sleepyhead. Night all.
