Ive been an iphone user for quite a few years and got a 5s last september. It is by far the best phone i have ever had, though battery life is abysmal. My daughter had a HTC for a short while and didn't like it, she switched as soon as she could to a samsung galaxy thing, which she also swears by.

Not sure if that helps or not.
