I read this earlier today if it's the one about saying AND instead of BUT and WANT instead of something else (need?). I thought it might have been staring every sentence with SO or saying ABSOLUTELY instead of YES.
If I were a professor I'd be embarrassed to come up with authoritative statements like this - but he is probably laughing as he probably gets paid thousands at a time for giving motivational speeches - money for old rope?

Whether it encourages a "can do" state of mind or not, I'd rather be honest. If there is a conflict there's no point in hiding it. And one should know what one wants.
