i have been a member of direct dial for over 14 years, i have 9yrs no claims discount and a clean driving licence, the only credit i have had over last 10yrs is monthly payments of insurance premiums, i haven't missed one, so my credit rating must be OK. i have been told by DD that they can't give me a quote this year. does this seem to be a bit sinister is there something else going on? has this happened to any AB posters?

No idea why....you could contact them to ask. However, this might be just the opportunity to get quotes from other insurers...having been with Direct Dial for all that time, you may be surprised to get (much) lower quotes. People who stick with the same insurers are rarely treated fairly at renewal time.
