Watched a concert she did at the Royal Albert hall the other week.
She puts so much energy into it. She never stopped. Though I'm amazed she got away with some of the content of the show, very near the knuckle and beyond.
What puzzled me though, she died this year of cancer didn't she? She seemed the picture of health and fitter than a butchers dog.
I checked the date at the end of the recording, it said MMXVI. That's this year.
I don't understand.

If you ever get the chance to see Dillie Keane I can thoroughly recommend her show. There's quite a bit of similarity in her style to some of Victoria Wood's stuff and she certainly doesn't hold back on content. Her song about wanting to be a lesbian, with references to turkey basters, etc leaves everyone thinking "I didn't really hear her sing that, did I?", while falling about laughing at the same time. Unfortunately it's not on Youtube but this is typical of her work:
