I have never understood why there has been problems with the 3 lethal injections in the States:ie, taking long time to die in agony, bleeding from ears, nose etc.

If an animal is put to sleep with one injection, why not a extra strong one for a human?

One injection lacks the sciency bit so beloved of the policeman of the world.

The firing squad is a practical, cheap and effective way of ending the long hours of boredom of the more deserving convicts.
