Like Gness, I only had a blackboard to work with but that didn't prevent me taking part in some April Fool's jokes with the kids. I'll never forget the look on the faces of hundreds of kids as I had a blazing row with the Head of Drama during school assembly, leading to us throwing blows at each other before we suddenly froze, turned to the bewildered onlookers and shouted "April Fool!"

Getting the kids to fill in 'important questionnaires for university researchers' could be fun too. It was always interesting to see how far they'd get through them before they realised that the questions were getting increasingly silly ;-)
