Acting is not something that can be undertaken by any old Joe off the street (however good at football he may be). Mr Beckham’s move into acting is somewhat of an insult to the hundreds of jobbing actors who have done their apprenticeships and spent time learning their craft.
Mr Beckham should stick to what he is good at – having most parts of his anatomy covered in tacky and tasteless tattoos.
