I always watch Emmie. For many years I attended our local ceremony on Llandudno promenade. We have an AB member who is attending the Cenotaph tomorrow morning I believe. Probably the march past with old forces comrades.
We shall watch as soon as we are back from our own Remembrance service (see Minty's 'How Lovely...' post). OH will wear his Vets. badge and we shall both wear poppies next to our French remembrance badges which I brought back with us.
I hope to catch some on TV....I have never been but it's wonderful to see how people dedicate themselves to the fallen. My grandfather died in the battle of Paschendale.... Never knew him but knew the story.
There was a short and well respected laying of reeves before the England and Germany friendly yesterday and both teams were allowed to wear the Poppy on their shirts if both teams agreed which they did (FifA Had kicked up a fuss about it in the past). Back to the OP alas I'll be busy helping Bro out with some stuff so might miss it.
I remembered and I will watch tomorrow from the Cenotaph, wolf posted this a while back and I listened to it today, the other links posted were just as poignant
