4x25 for me this month
No real good luck stories from the rest of the winners either. I like to read about someone with a few bonds for a long time wining something big. Not this month though
I got £1,050 last month plus, for the first time, a bonus £25 due to someone else having an ineligible bond. Haven't checked August's yet, but I fear I have used up my quota of luck.
When you purchase these Bonds in lump sums, ie say £2000 do you get consecutive numbers as you would buying raffle tickets, or are the Bonds numbers randomly computer generated. I have a small savings account with £5000 on 0.95% interest. I'm wondering if it would be worth a punt changing them to Bonds. I've bought Bonds for children over the years but not one has ever won anything. I have two bonds bought in the 1950's ( not by me) and still waiting for the big pay out!
Ric. Sorry for delay - have been on my travels. I think ineligible bonds have something to do with bonds for deceased persons that have been left in the draw longer than the 12 months allowed. I believe there is another category which escapes me for the moment.
